"I never served in the military so when I tell people I have PTSD, everyone assumes I must have. People seem to automatically assume PTSD is only present in people who have served our are serving and I can understand why. Those men and women go through a lot to make sure we are able to live our lives. I think it leads to a bigger issue, how misunderstood this condition is. When it comes to me and my life, I had a pretty bad experience losing my Mother and Father at the same time. I've always struggled with the event because it happened so quick and understanding it growing up was not possible. I have trouble sleeping, eating, and getting things done. I get distracted and end up living in my head which makes me feel anything but normal. I've been prescribed some pills to mellow me out but, I feel like a zombie when I take them. Plus, I've read the numbers on how often people end up abusing the pills I was prescribed. Started doing some research and my doctor actually recommended CBD but, I was told to do some digging to find a trustworthy brand. I purchased from Proper CBD about 5 months ago and so far so good. I'm sleeping better, eating, and feel more relaxed. I'm always skeptical about feeling "cured" because I know that doesn't exist but, I feel so much better than I did before I started taking CBD. I really enjoy their flavors and like to mix and match! "
